Creation of OGK-1 in 2005 was a core step in the Russian electric power industry reform. In 2006, we took control of six power stations located in different regions of Russia and became the largest Russian power generator by installed thermal generation capacity. In 2009, INTER RAO UES, a leading Russian energy holding, was appointed the sole executive authority over OGK-1. In 2011, INTER RAO — Management of Electric Power Plants was appointed our management company.
